Continuous delivery is a best practice goal for many teams who want to innovate faster. But the risk of constantly exposing new code to end users is one that some organizations simply cannot tolerate. Production errors create costly downtime, leaving engineering teams frustrated, customers dissatisfied and the business at a loss. What if you could reap the benefits of continuous delivery without the risk and automatically resolve errors before they impact end users?

Feature management and application performance monitoring are two essential tools in the modern DevOps toolkit that make releasing software safer, helping even the most risk-averse teams embrace continuous delivery.

Register today to learn:
  • How to implement feature management and performance monitoring for granular control over releases and rollbacks
  • How to reduce the blast radius of changes to ensure performance
  • How to automatically remediate production errors
  • How tools like LaunchDarkly and Datadog in AWS Marketplace can help you deliver more reliable features to customers faster
Cody De Arkland
Head of Developer Relations - LaunchDarkly
A technologist, with a few parts developer marketing and a pinch of bad jokes, Cody leads Developer Relations at LaunchDarkly where his team focuses on advocacy, technical marketing, and developer experience. His background is in content creation, enterprise IT automation, infrastructure as code, and application delivery. He loves to learn, but loves to teach others much more. His passions include mentorship, mental health, community, and frustrated git commit messages in the wee hours of the evening. When he's not hacking at the next demo, he's spending time with his daughters Hayley and Morgan, his wife Shannon, or his Goldendoodle Charlie."
Taiji Hagino
Senior Technical Advocate - Datadog
After becoming a software engineer, Taiji started Accurate System Ltd. with his various experiences. After that, he changed his career to DevRel (Developer Relations), a marketing approach to engineers. He became the Mitsui Knowledge Industry (MKI)'s first Technical Evangelist. Then he moved to the IBM Global Team, and established the Developer Advocate Tokyo Team. His previous work is also DevRel as Lead Developer Community Advocate for APAC at OutSystems. Taiji also works as a lecturer at University of Tsukuba and Meijo University and was previously a musician, and a hairdresser.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
