Everyone knows the adage, that the best defense is a good offense. This statement holds true for monitoring as well.
In current monitoring solutions and environments, the modus operandi is based on reacting to events as they happen, drilling down to the raw data, and looking for anomalies. This is a tedious task that can take a lot of time, and tends to be done while there is a business affecting failure.
Just because monitoring is defensive, does not mean that we can’t take an offensive/proactive approach. By using AI, Loom Systems mimics the actions taken by a DevOps engineer to find the root cause of the problem quickly and effectively.
Loom Systems does this by:
- Automatically parsing the streamed data and preparing for analysis
- Understanding each service and applications separately, and creating a unique threshold
- Monitoring all the logs in real time and alerting when a real anomaly happens
- Extracting relevant information from within the logs to enrich the incident.
- Provides the actual problem, including the detailed solution with Loom’s TriKB (Tribal Knowledge base)
In this webinar, we will discuss using AI for a proactive approach with our VP Product, Mr. Dror Mann and our Director of US Tech operations, Mr. Tim McGraw, who started off as a client at Bicycle Transit and came to work for a really innovative company (that’s us). They will also discuss the business and operational cases of using a tool like Loom.
Dror Mann, Co-Founder and VP Product, Loom Systems
With a proven track record in both business and technology, Dror is a serial entrepreneur and a recognized expert in the field of Big-Data Intelligence. Prior to founding Loom, he was the head of Product at Voyager Labs, where he led the product development from concept level to maturity. Before that, Dror held several products and project management roles on multiple projects with top Israeli companies including Israel Aerospace Industry, Matrix and the IDF on the implementation of big data analytics and intelligence projects.
Tim McGraw, Business Technology Evangelist
