She is focused on building effective marketing and advertising programs to drive brand awareness, demand creation, and supporting the go-to-market strategy.Prior to her role at VISO TRUST, Aileen gained experience working in marketing as an early employee across varying marketing functions at technology startups (Seed-Series A & PE) in market research and cybersecurity, including Dynata (formerly Critical Mix), Owl Cyber Defense, and Cyvatar. She was the founding marketing hire at Cyvatar, where she built the marketing program and team from the ground-up. Aileen Casmano is also a founding team member of the Cybersecurity Marketing Society.

Joseph Barringhaus currently serves as the Director of Demand Generation for Sonrai Security. His professional portfolio encompasses an array of roles, including field marketing, campaign planning, revenue marketing, and demand generation, honed through his diverse career experiences. Joseph has worked with startups and enterprise organizations, most recently Appsian Security, Progress Software, and Sonrai Security. Today, Joseph leads the demand generation efforts for Sonrai Security.

Carlos Escapa leads a global practice of Data & AI in Amazon Web Services' Global Systems Integrators division. Before rejoining AWS, Carlos was at Meta AI, where he ran Meta AI's strategic alliances. He was previously Senior Business Development Manager at AWS where he built the global channels for AI/ML. And prior to that he was co-founder and CEO of VirtualSharp Software, with a successful exit to Unitrends Inc (Insight Venture Partners). Carlos has an MS from Virginia Tech in Computer Science, and a BS from Illinois State University. He is a guest lecturer of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence at Berkeley-Haas, Stanford, ESADE and IE.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
