Leading Change at DevOps Enterprise Summit London

We are joined by members of the DevOps Enterprise Summit London programming committee to get a preview of the upcoming event to learn more about the exciting speakers and presentations happening later this month (June 30 - July 1). We’ll be discussing the idea of "Leading Change" from the DevOps transformation perspective and how this relates to organizational design in the enterprise, the functions of people, modern processes and technology adoption, and addressing security and compliance.

 

 

Ben Grinnell

Managing Director, North Highland

Ben is the Managing Director of North Highland’s Global Technology and Digital Service Line. His career has taken him from Programmer to Architect to Programme Manager to CIO and he’s spent the last 12 years advising CIOs, CFOs CEOs on how to transform their technology functions. He’s grown a 300 employee business focused on helping clients build their capability above consulting/SI/BPO dependency and is currently helping several large organisations accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

Benjamin Wootton

Co-Founder and Principal Consultant, Sendachi

Benjamin Wootton is Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at Sendachi. Benjamin Wootton has worked with over 30 enterprise organisations on DevOps and Continuous Delivery transformation projects, helping them modernise their organisations and technology stacks for reduced cycle times and increased innovation. Benjamin Wootton is a hands on developer, architect and engineer. Prior to founding Contino, Benjamin Wootton spent approximately 10 years working as a software engineer and team lead, primarily within the investment banking industry.

Owen Gardner

Technical Transformation Lead, Barclays

After a career in software delivery in a large number of industries and organisations of varying scale, Owen is currently the Technical Transformation Lead for Barclays, a British multinational universal banking and financial services company headquartered in London with operations in over 50 countries and territories and has around 48 million customers. Within the bank, amongst other deliveries, Owen instigated a DevOps Community of practice, and developed a framework providing an enterprise view of the challenges faced within a large and complex organisation by leveraging SME domain and platform specific knowledge to determine "Big Rocks" - those specific challenges that individually articulate the immediate and urgent changes to delivery, but together provide an enterprise view of the organisational challenges and a better understanding of the work required to improve customer experience.
