AI is in high demand, but how can you tell when your business is ready to take it on? When it’s time to incorporate AI into your workflows, building performant, secure and accurate applications can get complicated. Join Byron Voorbach from Weaviate and Travis Rehl from Innovative Solutions to explore what’s possible with AI apps and learn how to build the right foundation for fast, secure and scalable applications that delight your users.

In this Techstrong Learning Experience, you will learn how to build enterprise applications using a health care app as an example. Voorbach and Rehl will help you understand how to:

  • Efficiently handle diverse data such as customer records and images and create semantic connections, derive insights and harness the full power of your data with Weaviate’s AI-native open source database.
  • Leverage AWS cloud's capabilities for secure health care data storage, processing and analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care delivery.
  • Take advantage of Weaviate’s native integrations with Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock and a variety of large language model (LLM) providers (Cohere, Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Build AI-driven solutions that enhance patient and customer outcomes, reduce operational costs and make a meaningful impact on your industry.

Travis Rehl
SVP of Product & AI - Innovative Solutions
I have been working with AWS for almost 10 years, and in that time I have found them to be an incredible partner. Always willing to innovate, try new ideas, and engage head on with our team and our customers.“ Born in the Bronx, Travis has mostly been a tri-stater, living in New York City, Parsippany New Jersey, both Rochester and Syracuse New York, Stamford Connecticut, and (the outlier), Sarasota Florida. The Adirondacks are one of his favorite places – he enjoys mountain biking and the outdoors. Having the pivotal experience as an entrepreneur by building a small startup, then going cash flow positive and then getting acquired; Travis points out that ”It taught me the struggles of delivering a service, end to end, conception through customer outcome.” Travis is determined, but recognizes that not everyone is. “Innovative Solutions is not for everyone. Its pace, and intellectual demand requires people to rise to a challenge and overcome it with creativity and perseverance.” He enjoys cloud computing, and sees “a convergence on a container + compute + serverless strategy, with a mix of best in breed third party solutions for cost effective and scalable outcomes.” Travis attended Syracuse University and received his Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology. He has two children and two dogs.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
