Boundless Software used Calico Cloud and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to streamline their infrastructure operations and services, achieve SOC 2 compliance and build out their scalable Switchblade architecture. This significantly reduced customer onboarding times from months to merely hours, saving up to $80,000 per customer, depending on their infrastructure needs. This switch allowed Boundless to not only simplify container security from four different security tools to one, but also increased revenue by 70% in just two years. With a more efficient and effective security platform in place that provided a complete package of build, deployment and runtime security for containers and Kubernetes, the Boundless team can now focus on preventing security threats rather than remediation. In this fireside chat, you will hear from Romil Khanna, Sr. VP of engineering, Boundless Software, about how Calico has helped:

Streamline security tools: Shifting to Calico Cloud means Boundless now has a single security platform to operate. Calico provides a range of security capabilities including pod security, firewalls, audits and image scanning. It integrates workload-centric protection, anomaly detection and intrusion prevention systems into one cohesive system.

Accelerate adoption: Calisco's security features are immediately usable with plug-and-play functionality, catering to various workload requirements.

Tracking workflows: Calico's centralized dashboard simplifies tracking and audit evidence presentation, greatly benefiting Boundless's small security team by replacing complex multi-tool operations with straightforward processes.

Enhancing focus: With Calico, the Boundless security team has shifted from merely remediating threats to actively optimizing security, leveraging real-time monitoring and efficient cluster management tools.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
