Coding remains a vibrant and enjoyable part of the rapidly evolving world of software development. Still, the surrounding landscape is often marred by monotonous, repetitive tasks - toil that can dampen the spirits of even the most passionate developers. But generative AI has enormous potential to revolutionize these less-appealing aspects of software development.

In this Techstrong Learning Experience, attendees will gain insight into the nature of toil in software development beyond coding - from managing documentation to debugging and deployment. The session will explore why these necessary yet often cumbersome tasks can hinder innovation and creativity. We’ll then pivot to uncovering how generative AI can be a game-changer in automating tasks and enhancing the creative process of coding itself. The conversation will blend current AI advancements, real-world applications and a glimpse into a future where AI collaborates in development.

If you’re a developer, team leader or involved in any aspect of software development, this webinar offers a roadmap to a more efficient and enjoyable work environment.

You'll leave with:

  • A deep understanding of the toil in current software development practices.
  • Insights into how generative AI is changing the landscape.
  • Practical ways to integrate AI into your development workflow for enhanced productivity.
  • A vision of future software development paradigms shaped by AI.
  • Networking opportunities with peers who share your challenges and aspirations.
  • This session is more than a showcase of technology; it's a thought leadership journey into the future of software development, paving the way for a world where coding creativity is preserved and amplified.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understanding the Toil in Development: Gain a clear understanding of the non-coding tasks in software development that often lead to toil, and why addressing them is crucial for the future of software development.
  • Generative AI’s Role in Alleviating Toil: Learn how generative AI can be a powerful tool in automating and streamlining repetitive tasks, thereby enhancing the creativity and efficiency of coding.
  • Practical Integration Strategies: Discover actionable strategies and examples of how generative AI can be integrated into your current development workflow, leading to immediate and tangible benefits.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
