Build Securely by Default With Harness and AWS

According to Gartner, in 2022, 90% of software development projects have adopted DevSecOps practices, up from 40% in 2019. However, these current practices are often manual and depend on disparate tooling. Shifting left has become a growing priority within software delivery practices because of the consistent and growing risk of revenue losses from security breach fines, decreased release velocity and poor developer experience and retention.

By leveraging Harness Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Security Testing Orchestration (STO) in one platform, Fortune 500 enterprises, global financial institutions and federal agencies can adopt a shift left approach and foster a culture of collaboration where new application teams build securely by default.

Join Troy Mangum, Director of CI/CD, at Harness, and Welly Siauw, principal partner solutions architect - DevOps, from Amazon Web Services (AWS), to learn:

  • Primary use cases for a shift left approach
  • The teams that benefit from a shift left approach
  • A step-by-step guide to shifting left and how it can improve your team
  • The importance of automation and governance in your software development life cycle (SDLC)
Harness is the only end-to-end platform for complete software delivery. It provides a simple, safe, and secure way for engineering and DevOps teams to release applications into production. Harness uses machine learning to detect the quality of deployments and automatically roll back failed ones, saving time and reducing the need for custom scripting and manual oversight, giving engineers their weekends back. Harness is based in San Francisco. Please visit harness.io or @harnessio to learn more.
