Modernize your development pipeline in this hands-on workshop with AWS and CircleCI.

Attendees will build a continuous delivery pipeline that demonstrates continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) while learning how CircleCI can instrument and solve numerous roadblocks across their teams and organizations.

In this workshop, we'll cover how to create CI/CD pipelines for:

• Automated testing
• Security scans (DevSecOps)
• Building Docker images
• Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform
• Deploying applications

We'll show you how to integrate tools like AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Graviton EC2 Arm compute nodes, Snyk, Terraform Cloud, DockerHub and more.

The workshop walks through the following:

• Creating an AWS account with proper permissions
• Requesting AWS credit from AWS Marketplace
• Creating a Cloud9 IDE Workspace
• Creating an IAM Role
• Attaching an IAM Role

  Workshop Prerequisites

  There are a few prerequisite tasks you must perform before getting started on this workshop. You will integrate various tools and services into a CI/CD pipeline which will require you to create or register new accounts with the following services:

  1. Create a GitHub account
  2. Create a Docker Hub account
  3. Create a Snyk account
  4. Create a CircleCI account
  5. Create a Terraform Cloud account
  6. Create an AWS account
